Chris McCandless' Journey Reflection.

Chris McCandless covered a lot of ground in just a couple of years. He traveled through completely different terrain in every journey he made. The longest journey seemed like the trip from Carthage to Alaska. I realized that Chris didn’t have a plan in the beginning but it was clear as what he was going to do after he canoed down to El Golfo de Santa Clara. He was going to completely obliterate normal society from his life and lead a life according to Jack London. It was apparent to me that Chris thought he could handle himself in any given situation. The Alaskan topography was above and beyond his survival skills. Chris McCandless met his demise. He died doing what he loved most and that it all that mattered.
